Disney and Marvel are coming out with a new Fantastic Four movie — and the City of Stockton is hoping to play a part. The franchise reboot isn't due until 2025, but signatures are being gathered for a petition to have Stockton featured as the superheroes' hometown. 'Stan Lee and Marvel Comics named Stockton, California, the birthplace of the Fantastic 4,' Mayor Kevin Lincoln said about the Fantastic Four's creator. 'In fact, Stan Lee stood at City Hall and proclaimed it.' In the original Fantastic Four storyline, the group lived in Central City, California.
